“The legacy of Ludwig van Beethoven, who was born in Bonn in 1770, is highly respected and honored, and his music is present everywhere”. Beethovenfest in Bonn is an annual classical music festival celebrating Beethoven’s legacy with around 70–80 concerts by international orchestras, ensembles, and soloists in over 20 venues across Bonn and the surrounding region each September, featuring diverse performances, talks, workshops, and cultural events honoring the composer’s influence.
