Würzburg: Kiliani Beer Festival and Fun Fair

Kilianivolksfest in Würzburg is Franconia’s largest folk festival, celebrating Saint Kilian with beer tents, traditional music, rides, regional food, fireworks, and parades. Held annually in summer, it blends Bavarian-style festivities with local culture, attracting families, tourists, and locals for joyful communal celebration across the Main riverbanks and fairgrounds each year. In 2030 this festival will turn 1,000 years.
