The Munich-based hotel chain Motel One launched in 2000 as a budget design hotel concept. Known for regionally-themed interiors and prime city-center locations, Motel One currently operates over 100 hotels across 13 countries — with approximately 65 properties in Germany alone. Here’s an overview, as of November 2025, of Motel One properties that currently welcome guests in the following Historic Highlights of Germany heritage cities.
